In 1969, as it became apparent that American rail passenger service was about to disappear from the face of the land (AMTRAK was by no means a sure thing then) I embarked on “one last” Dream Rail Adventure. Riding “last runs” was a hobby within the hobby in those days, but more on that at a later time. This trip took me to California where I met up with a buddy from the Ohio Railway Museum to enjoy the Roaring Camp and Big Trees and the delights of San Francisco. This movie features the San Francisco part of that adventure.
